ABA / BEHAVIOR THERAPY
At Waverly, we provide a variety of services under the ABA/Behavior Therapy umbrella. Services range from focused Behavior Therapy to increase specific positive behaviors or social/learning skills to early intensive ABA.
Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) can address difficulties with self-regulation, sensory processing, body awareness, motor planning, handwriting and development of gross motor and fine motor skills.
Psychotherapy utilizes a number of different methods to help children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral challenges. The idea behind therapy is to help children change their thoughts, beliefs and behaviors.
Your child's assessment may be performed by one practitioner or by a collaborating multi-disciplinary team depending upon your concerns. Every assessment is tailored to the individual child to ensure optimal conditions for evaluation.
Our Speech and Language Therapists provide services for students with expressive and receptive language delays, fluency and phonological disorders, auditory and language processing disorders, social pragmatic challenges, autism and ADHD/EF challenges.
Executive Function (EF) Coaching can help children develop systems for organization, planning and execution. Foundational/tutoring support is also given to students of all ages to help with basic reading, writing and math understanding.
Nutrition counseling can help your child discover how food affects his/her body. Your child will improve his/her eating habits, increase physical activity and improve body image.
